3D Printing by Signify lights up the largest AM-network booth at Formnext

Signify, the world leader in lighting, will be giving an extra touch to the network stand of Flam3D/Brainport at Formnext 2021 with a set of 3D printed luminaires created specially to light up the booth.

This year, the global 3D printing ecosystem will again gather at the Formnext fair in Frankfurt, Germany. Formnext is considered the main Additive Manufacturing (3D-printing) fair in the world and will take place from 16 to 19 November.

Flam3D is the Flemish-Dutch Additive Manufacturing association and, as such, is present at the fair with a common booth, together with 14 partners representing the entire ecosystem. Signify is also at the stand, presenting their 3D printing materials and showcasing its customizable and sustainable 3D printed luminaires.

Signify’s 3D printed luminaires offer customers the opportunity to design lighting that fits their brands – customers can create or co-create beautiful lamps and pendants that enhance brand experience. As they’re 3D printed, customers can eliminate storage costs as the luminaires are printed on-demand, with fast delivery times even for larger quantities. Besides: it’s the most sustainable choice, as the luminaires are designed for the Circular Economy and made with 100% recyclable materials.

Kris Binon, director of Flam3D: “This is exactly what we were looking for: not just any lighting, but a demonstration of the brightness and the connectivity of our Benelux Additive Manufacturing network”, quickly adding: “and it’s just very elegant, too.”

Joao Pola, CEO of 3D printing by Signify “Our lamps and pendants are born from sustainable innovation. It is an honor to showcase them at the Flam3D/Brainport booth to illustrate what our 3D printing technology creates and delivers to customers around the world.” The luminaires will be displayed hanging in the lounge of the Flam3D/Brainport stand in Hall 11, stand D11.
