3D printing square puts AM in the spotlight during Nederlandse Metaal Dagen
Those wishing to attend this year’s Nederlandse Metaal Dagen will have to keep 19 to 21 April free in their agendas. This year, the fair, which will again take place in the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, is entirely dedicated to Smart Manufacturing with sub-themes such as Digitalisation, Process Optimisation & Production Improvement and Industrie 4.0. Additive Manufacturing (AM) cannot be missed in that list and so Flam3D will also be on standby during this fair to inform visitors about AM and assist them with their 3D printing challenge.
The Nederlandse Metaal Dagen is known as an exhibition where visitors can discover the latest developments and innovations of the metal industry, not only on the exhibition floor, but also through various seminars & conferences. Whereas other events often focus on machines and products, this year De Nederlandse Metaal Dagen focuses on solutions to produce smarter: Smart Manufacturing.
The world has changed dramatically in recent years as a result of the corona crisis and this has also affected the manufacturing industry. It has made people realise how vulnerable long supply chains are. To protect Europe’s economies, deep globalisation must be partially reversed. However, to compete with low-wage countries, labour productivity in Flanders and the Netherlands must be significantly increased. Smart Manufacturing can be a solution and is therefore an interesting track to invest in for the manufacturing industry.
Flam3D has been marking De Nederlandse Metaal Dagen in its agenda for a while now and will be filling in the 3D printing square at the fair together with other renowned AM organisations. A unique square on the exhibition floor that brings together various organisations of the 3D printing landscape. As a neutral and independent network organisation, Flam3D gives visitors insight into the possibilities and advantages of AM and we can provide organisations with the right connections. Within our network, we always have access to relevant knowledge and contacts to help you with your 3D challenges. Moreover, at the other stands of the collective, you can directly get acquainted with some techniques and services within 3D printing.
3D printing can therefore offer a competitive advantage for your company too, but it is important to know where and when best to use this technology. That is why we will not only provide information at our stand, but Flam3D will also give a presentation during the fair. With the presentation, we will try to explain in an accessible way how organisations can get started with 3D printing and what the advantages are for your company. So be sure to keep an eye on our LinkedIn for more info around the speaking part.
Visiting Nederlandse Metaal Dagen is completely free for professionals from the manufacturing industry. Would you like to discover more about AM and the added value for your company? Then be sure to drop by Flam3D at the 3D printing square (stand number 7.C038)!
