Advanced Engineering: come along or take part

On 11 & 12 May 2022, product designers, innovation managers, product engineers and R&D managers from the Belgian manufacturing industry come to Antwerp Expo to make their products future-proof during Advanced Engineering (AE). Why? They will find solutions from design, prototyping & testing, material selection to adding electronics. Flam3D will also be present at the fair with neutral and independent advice on 3D printing. Discover below why a visit is worth your time. PS. Would you rather participate as an exhibitor? Flam3D members get a 10% discount on the exhibition price.

With 1764 visitors at the previous edition in 2019, 120 exhibitors and 56 speakers, Advanced Engineering is one of the fastest growing technology events in Belgium. The fair focuses on the entire product development process: from question, idea, and concept, over design, material selection and prototyping, to testing, high-end electronics and connectivity. Innovation manifests itself at each of these levels, and even more so, the innovations operate across sectors. All manner of production processes influence each other and raise the bar ever higher. Advanced Engineering brings experts together to help with technological issues. Flam3D will also be present to help you with your 3D printing challenge. 1. Flam3D info session: “Start to print: increase your competitivity with AM”

On Thursday 12 May (14h-15h30) you can participate in the start-to-print info session of Flam3D. Get inspired by the possibilities of Additive Manufacturing through a general introduction to the technology and interesting use cases of 4 speakers in the industry. The info session is aimed at all companies and organisations interested in getting started with 3D printing. We aim to answer questions that different individuals and companies wrestle with when they want to start exploring 3D printing. After the lectures there will be room for networking and a short visit to the Advanced Engineering fair. More info will follow soon on this page.

  • SIM Materials Market

On Wednesday 11 May, Strategic Initiative Materials (SIM) will organise its annual Materials Market during the fair. At the SIM Materials Market, companies and research institutes get the chance to show their material innovation to the wider public. In other words, you will discover the latest trends and updates in the field of innovative materials. Would you like to participate or visit the market? More info will follow soon on this page.

  • Artificial Intelligence Hub

Together with The Beacon and the Flemish AI Research Program, Advanced Engineering is organising the first physical fair on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the manufacturing industry. Through this hub, the fair offers two days of content, demos, and inspiration. Moreover, you might meet the right partners to help with your strategy.
