Kamp C: event 3D-printen in de bouw

Explore the future possibilities of 3D printing in construction

On 11 and 12 October 2021, Kamp C organises the inspiration days “The future possibilities of 3D printing in construction”. The event is part of the KIEM project, a cooperation project on 3D concrete printing. Kamp C provides an identical program with several interesting speakers: a day program on 11/10 and an evening program on 12/10.

Are you a designer, architect, or engineer? And are you curious about the possibilities of integrating 3D printing into your designs? How can you get started with 3D printing in facade elements, indoor or outdoor applications? Or how to design a 3D bridge? Many experts will guide you during the inspiration day “The future possibilities of 3D printing in construction” of Kamp C.

Kamp C organises the event in the scope of their KIEM project. Last year, the first 3D printed house was built at Kamp C with a fixed 3D concrete printer (C3PO project). You can read more about this event in this article. The purpose of the demo house was to give the construction sector a practical introduction to 3D concrete printing. Through the KIEM project, Kamp C now wants to examine which barriers still need to be overcome in order for companies to incorporate the technology in their business processes and thus achieve market introduction. They try to inspire the building community and share their knowledge from the C3PO-project.
