Flam3D during Advanced Engineering: a fair full of encounters and innovations

A summary of a successful trade show experience

Advanced Engineering is a fair that features annually on the Flam3D agenda, a place with a diverse audience, and this year was no different. On May 24 and 25, Flam3D was on the exhibition floor at Antwerp Expo, ready to explain the fascinating world of Additive Manufacturing (AM) and bring its benefits to a diverse audience. With a Flam3D stand, the fair offered a great opportunity for anyone looking for specific information and valuable contacts within the AM sector.

As a neutral and independent networking organization, Flam3D has always strived to represent the interests of all actors in the AM value chain, both in Flanders and in the Netherlands. Our Flam3D booth at Advanced Engineering was a physical reflection of this commitment, where we were able to serve people with various AM-related questions and needs. We were ready to help everyone with an open and neutral approach and provide valuable insights and connections.

During the exhibition, we also had the opportunity to demonstrate the versatility of 3D printing using various samples. This not only provided a stage for our members to showcase their innovative applications, but also gave visitors a chance to experience the possibilities of 3D printing up close. From advanced techniques to inspiring examples of successful implementations, the Flam3D booth was a true source of inspiration for the visitors.

It was gratifying to see that interest in AM is growing and more and more organizations are recognizing its benefits. As Flam3D, we are determined to promote the spread of knowledge about 3D printing and help identify suitable application areas for the technology. We are convinced that 3D printing can provide a competitive advantage, but it is critical to know where and when it is beneficial to deploy this technology. With our neutral approach and extensive network, we can provide organizations with the necessary insights and contacts to support them with their 3D challenges.

We would like to thank all the visitors who visited the Flam3D booth during Advanced Engineering 2023. It was great to welcome familiar faces as well as many new visitors. The interaction with our members and the opportunity to make new contacts were very fruitful and we are delighted with the positive feedback we received.

Now we are already looking forward to the next edition of Advanced Engineering and the next exhibition where we will be exhibiting: Formnext 2023.
