Visit Flam3D at RapidPro 2022
On 22 and 23 June, four events under the name of 3D Production Days will take place in Eindhoven, including the MBD Solutions Event, Virtual (R)evolution and the Smart Maintenance Congres. The fourth cornerstone of the 3D Production Days is RapidPro, a two-day fair about 3D scanning, prototyping, 3D printing and other Additive Manufacturing (AM) techniques. RapidPro is one of the most important 3D printing/AM trade shows taking place in the Benelux. Flam3D will be present at the fair with neutral and independent advice, nice demonstrators and interesting cases and also organised a lecture track for the 3D printing event.

Flam3D will be present at the fair (Hall B, stand 101) to spread neutral and independent knowledge about 3D printing. 3D printing is a technology that can offer a competitive advantage to companies in many sectors – from automotive over medical applications to mechanical engineering. However, many companies are still struggling to understand how to harness the benefits of 3D printing for their application. That’s why RapidPro visitors can visit the Flam3D booth to get inspiration from interesting cases, gather the right AM contacts and find answers to all their AM-related questions.
This year we will also have a demo desk at the fair. The demo desk is intended to welcome visitors to the world of AM. Together with our members Formando and Guaranteed, we put together an excellent instrument to demonstrate the possibilities and advantages of AM in combination with conventional techniques, because ‘smart manufacturing is making smart combinations’. 3DESK is a unique, but above all smart combination of standard industry profiles and AM technologies using 3D printed parts with small and large dimensions. This makes the counter an ideal means to demonstrate the objectives of Flam3D: Flam3D wants to represent 3D printing and its members as best as possible at the fair. So be sure to drop by at RapidPro to discover the 3DESK.
As well as several fascinating cases from various Flam3D members, member Renishaw Benelux B.V. will also be showcasing a fine example of metal Additive Manufacturing on its stand with Robot Bike Co. customised mountain bike. The mountain bike can be adjusted to the size and riding style of the driver. This is remarkable, because usually mountain bikes are only available in 2 or 3 sizes and this affects the performance and quality of the ride. Thanks to the clever use of AM, a unique bike configuration can be produced to fit the size of the individual customer. Curious how? Come and find out!
What is RapidPro?
The 3D Production Days, and consequently RapidPro, will take place under the banner of the 3D Delta Week, a week of immersion in the world of 3D manufacturing for which Flam3D, Jakajima and Brainport Development have jointly taken the initiative. On several locations in the Netherlands and Flanders activities will take place from 20 to 24 June to put the 3D-manufacturing value chain in the spotlight. The aim of the cooperation is to gather 3D-manufacturing events, including trade fairs such as RapidPro, and thus to position itself even more strongly as ‘the place to be’ for every company that could benefit from 3D printing. In this way, the founding partners, together with the participating event organisers, want to put 3D manufacturing from the Benelux on the international map.
The RapidPro trade fair, which originally focused on prototyping, will continue with the 2022 edition the already initiated expansion towards digitisation of production. The developments within Digital and Additive Manufacturing are moving fast, which changes the demand and constantly creates new challenges for the industry. The organisers of RapidPro want to take up these challenges with the event. RapidPro as a trade fair offers solutions for all phases of prototyping, production and product development. Various Additive Manufacturing techniques (for both polymers and metals) will be discussed, but also techniques such as CNC milling, casting and vacuum forming. Solutions such as virtual prototyping, metrology, quality assurance and software will certainly not be forgotten. Visitors can visit the fair free of charge after pre-registering via the following link.
Networking during 3D Delta Dinner
If you still have not had enough of networking at the fair, you can join the 3D Delta Dinner afterwards. The dinner is the ultimate networking event for all stakeholders within 3D manufacturing. It will be the ideal place to network, catch up on work-related and other matters, all in a light and tasteful setting. Enjoy a delicious dinner with some short presentations, including a special guest! The 3D Delta Dinner takes place in the Blue Collar Hotel in Eindhoven’s Klokgebouw and starts with an opening drink at 6.00pm. Got the taste for it?
